I am a high school teacher at Windsor Secondary in North Vancouver.I take students to Italy every second year on a Cultural Tourism trip. Students earn credits for studying the art, the architecture, the language and the culture. On our last trip we studied the Italian Campaigne specifically Monte Cassino and the Liri Battles. On this trip we visted the Cassino Commonwaelth war Cemetery and paid tribute to the fallen Canadian soldiers with wreaths, poems and hymns. This tribute will be apart of all future trips to Europe for the students at Windsor Secondary school in the future.
