My name is Suji, and I would like to tell you about a story that would touch your heart. It is a true story that happened to our family. There was a Korean War occuring in 1950. The reason why there was a huge war for the people in Korea was because North Korea and South Korea had people thinking two different thoughts. One side believed rich people should be at the top, which was the idea of North Korea, and the other thought was for people to be treated equally, which was the suggestion from South Korea. North Korea invaded South Korea. Surprisingly, the victims were the citizens, ordinary people who lived in South Korea. They got separated from their families. They died because of hunger. Now, my grandfather and three brothers had nothing to do with the war since they were only about 9 or 10, getting ready for the harvest. Then, they realized that they needed to take responsibilities for keeping themselves safe throughout the war. They ran and ran until they found they were out of food. They tried to get away from the enemy, but they lost a beloved brother. It took a long time before they could stand up and get their courage back. Then there came a time where people died of disease, and other illnesses. Other boys died because they were sick. My grandfather was left out, lonely. To him the sky seemed to be draped by a black coat everyday. He knew his family would never come back again. Also, the war changed many lives. It changed my grandfather from a little boy to a man. He lost his childhood. Still, my grandfather is alive. His face is friendly all the time. I could never have guessed the things that happened to his life.

War Story
I decided as an extension to research work I had been doing on the military careers of my family members during the Civil War, that I might want to take my search a step further and look into the events that took place with my family and their service during World War II.vps hosting
I had managed to listen to a few tales of things that had happened to my father-in-law who served at Schofield Barracks and was there to see the events unfold that led this country into World War II.
Additionally managed web hosting, I had heard a few brief accounts (mostly comical) with regards to my Dad and his experiences during the war years and eventual service during the last year of the war.
Still, most of what I had heard or read about the war came as a result of my love of reading and some of the events depicted during the early years of black and white television windows web hosting.
