My Grandpa was in World War 2. When he had joined the army, he was only 17 years old. He fought for his country's freedom. He was very fortunate because he lived. During the war he slept under the trees. He didn't have that much to eat. He would have a hard time doing things because he missed his family. Like I said, he is very fortunate to have survived, and now I have all my grandparents alive! He was very brave and strong and I admire him. Plus, he's good at cards too!
