Les Bush, Corvette's 1943-1945ish

Les Bush was in the Navy in WW2. He was on the HMCS Rockliffe in the engine room. He was in charge of keeping the port engine pressure at a certain level. At the end of his shift the port and starboard side had to be kept within a small range, if they were not they were disciplined for it.

Les has a memory of being on leave in Boston MA and was lucky enough to walk into a random bar, low and behold, Nat King Cole was singing.

He has now retired from many years at Crown Zellerbach and resides in Edmonton, Alberta.
