Veteran`s Week

The Government of Canada Proclaims Veterans’ Week from November 5th to 11th, inclusive.  It is a time to honour and remember all those who served and continue to serve Canada in times of war, military conflict and humanitarian efforts.

An annual Veterans’ Week theme is chosen to draw focus upon special military anniversaries.  Communities and schools are encouraged to plan commemorative events reflective of the theme which pays tribute to veterans and current serving members of the Canadian Forces.
